@NeonPurpleStar You know maybe looking the results only is not the best thing to do. Sometimes you just put effort into something just to see it not work out. That does not mean it was not good to do.

Likely you learned some things along the way or stuff you could differently next time to achieve the result you may have wanted. Or you may just have enjoyed the process of doing something.

I mean tbh I get being against AI and scraping. As was said in that thread poisoning images (if thats what you fancy) does not take away too much from the image (I would not much more than compression does anyway.

But what does "poisoning" alt-text actually accomplish. Nothing really. Makes the experience worse for everyone. And to protect what? Alt-Text. A piece of text describing an image. Nothing that is like super fancy or artsy I think.

Also that other thread about all the scraped sites was hillarious as well. Imagine your posts you post publicly and share with a few hundred servers ending up somewhere you don't want them.

I sometimes doubt that people understand the internet or this concept.

Saying they trained the AI in a specific way, which does not work with GPT-5 yet.

But I can't stop but feel this real bad. smartphones and social media ate addictive as hell already because of their "social" nature (yeah include myself here as well... ). But the attachments to these things is on a different level.

Well the bike is now fixed up. Though I did buy the wrong mantle for the back tyre (slightly too wide) I did just swap the used front mantle to back. It was kinda weird it had two different sizes of tyres. So now I have a new mantle lying aroubd that I have no use for....

@puniko @kaia @grillchen basically a little dolly you under each of the four tyres. It has lasers and stuff to see if the alignment of the of the suspension and stuff is proper or needs abjustment.
