@novenary Tbh Was in the same camp with the jack by now I like my bluetooth thingies. The FP3 still has the jack, but it does work only in a really weird with Marshall Major IV I have. (other phones were fine, did change the jack to no avail).

The cans don't have ANC so battery lasts for very long while for me...

I get though why one would not wanna drop the jack.

@pixel @devious you may wanna maybe give conduit a shot. It is easier to host in my experience (also is less than $20 )

@micr0 @mikoto If you wnat something a tad simpler to set up but maybe a bit incomplete I can give conduit a firm recommend.

There is some stuff missing that dendrite might have missing. But in my day to day it worked good. (Other than matrix throwing in wrenches here and there when they change spec (or their reference implementation with synapse))

@mikoto Thats what I am doing right now with my Fairphone 3+ Lineage is fine most of the time. Not the most data friendly or privacy-protecting. But better than a stock-rom that does not get any updates.

had a small experiment with running a bluesky-pds. I got to work even without docker, but it seems rather meh tbh. Though to be fair I did not give too much of a change since even verifiying my E-Mail was kinda not working, I dunno why since you cannot configure a mailer for bsky-pds

Likely since I did not use a fresh-domain or something. Its pretty hostile to assume you are the only service running on a server and the only thing a domain is used for. Everything else requires bending stuff. So you need a fresh-domain and atleast a VM on a server so its easy to install.

tbh not worth any more effort on my side it seems.
