Need more people to chat on Matrix with, a $20/month bill hitting me for... *counts on hand* 1 person that I'm chatting on there with is not doing the numbers.

but I did that once already and I broke it-- so I'm having it hosted

@pixel @devious you may wanna maybe give conduit a shot. It is easier to host in my experience (also is less than $20 )

@stefan @devious it costs that amount of money because someone else hosts it, so it's mostly the service cost, not really the hardware etc.

and I think it's somewhat fair for a small operation.

@pixel @devious seems kinda excessive to me but that depends on what they actually offer with the package and how many users they would support with that amount
