Progress is nice. I would sometimes like to go out like that more often. (I really fell in love with that red tartan skirt.) You can do fun outfits with red/black contrast. I really like it.

@wallmask3 Are those people also on art or somewhere else? But generally every user has the ability to limit who can follow them. Follow requests are a nice middleground between open follows and no follows at all. The person gets to decide who can follow them or not

@fristi Writing proper Tutorials is actually fairly difficult I would say. You need the knowledge required to explain the stuff you want to talk about and know how to properly explain stuff...
Its hard. The best way to get quality content out of that is writing something and having someone not familiar with the matter go through it and tell you what could be explained better or differently. Before publishing.

@volpeon just to add my two-cents...
There is the problem that that admins and mods are also fairly trigger-happy with whole instance-blocks but we had that discussion way too many times on fedi.
People seem quite happy with that thing you describe.
I do generally like the idea proposed here. But you would likely need to implement the illusive fedi "groups" everywhere. Not gonna happen with masto.
