Well since I got a little delivery today from spreadshirt a photoshoot was needed. Also gave the new camera a quick test.

So I bought this skirt a while and then had that “stupid” idea that I could do a cute groupie outfit in it lol. Since I am not that much into rock and the outfit has a more pink and japanese vibe…. Why not Kessoku Band from the anime Bocchi the Rock.

I finally got around to order some stuff from spreadshirt. I will have to see how long it will actually last for. Just wash it correctly and we will see.

I think I found a nice combo here. The black tights and chunky boots with the pink laces work quite together with the rest. Though the Band logo likely should have been a darker shade of pink.

The hoodie will get a crop from me at a later time so I just stuffed it into the skirt for now so you can see the vision.

I think I look cute. Just some cute headdress missing tbh.

I found their artwork while browsing some stuff on sites like redbubble etc. Its I guess used a lot there without their permssion I fear. I did not buy from redbubble. I thrown some money their way and had it printed myself instead.

I did not 100% like the original artwork so I made some adjustments with the colors. It looks good I think

Well got some cool stuff in the mail… Photoshoot and more info about the graphics themselves (artist etc) in the followup post once I am back buying some other stuff.

The plan for the Hoodie is to crop it. Thats also why the graphic on the back is rather small.

Also the camera is here. Though for now I will use the lens that came with my G70

I am sorry for that rather corny sentence... But it does have some truth to it.

I mean yeah people could create multiple accounts to seperate things out (think like a private alt-account or something ) but tbh its not working super well most of the time. Since switching accounts is annoying.

I have "solved" that problem with having 2 instances. This akkoma where there is all my regular posting and my sharkey where I try to post mostly about my sewing-stuff and the pics I took (mostly of myself in cute outfits.

You could solve this issue of unwanted content different ways. All will require the artist to do something though:

- Ask the artist if they have a gallery site (or check their bio). In general Posting art to social media is a dumb idea for preservation anyway... That gallery will have some RSS you can follow.

- Ask the artist if they could add a special hashtag to the art-posts (there is a risk to miss posts when the artist forgets the hashtag).

- See if the artist has a special account where they only post their art (some pixelfed account may be nice for it?)

- Maybe the artist is on other platforms outside of fedi as well (though that would mean you would need to venture outside of fedi...)

All are not perfect solutions surely. And generally I think its just a good idea to vibe check someone before you follow them just for the art. And also you can unfollow at any time if the vibe shifts.

It's kind of infuriating how, as soon as you try to do good, you're held to impossible standards.

People are shit and companies are shit all the time and nobody bats an eye. But do volunteer work for your FOSS community, start a project that tries to do things more ethically, just be visibly not shit, and people left and right come out of the woodwork to point out all the ways in which you are not being absolutely flawless and perfect, and all the work that needs doing that you're not yet taking upon you.

The people actually doing the work are also the people who are being asked to do even more, and who are being critised the most. It's a really insiduous pattern and we all need to be better at recognising it and squashing it.
