@weebdeluxe I was just asking since when you need syncing you are more likely then not looking at some web-app thing.

But maybe even LibreOffice can do that for you already with Fullscreen-Mode and maybe Langauagetool for better Spell-Checking. Put Linux into no Disturb and you should be good tbh.

There is stuff like Focuswriter (https://gottcode.org/focuswriter/) as well but I got turned off really fast as I saw you cannot adjust the font or size of it...

But if you don't really need any organization features to organize your novels something as simple could work?

You I did fancy myself some older racing games kinda. Not super old like Gran Turismo 4 but not as new as say a Forza Horizon 5/6

(though I am waiting on Sale for Horizon 6 tbh)

And since Gran Turismo is not really availiable on PC (though yeah you can play 1-6 with emulators) I decided to look at Forza Games again.

I heard people saying that the older Horizon Games were better than the new ones (well in some regards for sure.

The oldest Horizon you can get on PC without Emulation is Forza Horizon 3 from 2016

I also wanted something more Track-focused as well. So I looked at Forza Motorsport again. I liked Playing Motorsport 4 on that Xbox back in the day.

Xbox 360 Emulation is still kinda rough ngl. But looking up rn I might be able to play using xenia 👀

Anyway besides the point. The first Motorsport title to support PC is Motorsport 7 from 2017

My PC is a fairly typical build with one exception for such old games. The arc graphics card would proof difficult.

I have a Ryzen Processor, an Arc graphics Card and my Moza Wheel and an Xbox Controller.

I also had to use Windows as both are UWP Games and these do not run on Linux (yet, xodus might change that in the future)

So grabbed my wallet to throw money at microsoft and their store just to find they are not selling both games anymore. Can't get them elsewhere legally as well other than on Xbox with a used copy.

So Ahoy Matey we go.

Got the games installed and then noticed ah wait my Tiny11 does not have the Xbox-Stuff installed. Reinstalled Windows.

Motorsport 7 launches fine and you can play it after I reinstalled tiny11 with xbox services.

Horizon 3 was different. It would launch and then crash but before that it would send a textbox saying the GPU is not supported but I could ignore if I wanted.

What can I tell you Arc is indeed not supported. Like at all. Swapped in the RX480 I have still. Game starts just fine and is very playable indeed.

Looking up this stuff found a thread where someone made a post on intels forums about the game.

Intel just be like: "Uh yeah it seems like we cannot buy the game anymore. So sorry we cannot fix this."

I mean yeah the games are older than the graphics architecture but thats a bummer.

Also tried my wheel with the games.

On Motorsport 7 it atleast worked although with the same weird force feedback I know from Horizon 4/5.

Horizon 3 nope. Won't even recognize it. yay. "old" games are fun. and nobody can really fix them as well, thanks UWP.

I guess now I have to do some thinking. Games work fine with Controller under windows and the RX 480.

I would like my arc installed prefferably since it is nicer an all. but I guess the rx480 gets going for another spin
