@grillchen truely. Thats why multiple sources of retirement stuff. Switzerland does this quite well. They have a mandatory state-like thingie, employer-benefits and you can also put stuff in special retirement stuff.
Mostly gets tied up my insurances that will gurantee you a certain something will be paid.
But yeah for stock based pensions alone... Its shit.
A reason why we really need more Betriebsrente in germany. But corpos don't like that to be mandatory since it can really squeeze you for cash in a smaller firm (or even big ones can fail on it). Also I guess they would succesfully complain to the government it never happens

@grillchen And stuff like micron, skHynix and samsung as well as Nvidia are the "stable" stock in the AI bubble. They are actually making real good bank.
On the other side you have the meme-stock of SpaceX and the other two "will they won't they IPO" of Anthropic and OpenAI.
Shorting on that shit was never easier. and SpaceX gets shorted a whole lot lol. It will get juicy soon as more stocks will flood the market as SpaceX first Earnings will hit soon in August
I did not have anything from that 2008 Bubble. Was too young and had no capital to invest.
But if you don't need the capital after such a crash the best thing is to even throw in money after such a crash. Wisdom suggests that Indexes will bounce back and surpass with enough time

@grillchen when your company is basically the whole GDP this may happen. Nvidia could have the same effect on nasdaq tbh.
