@lyli I am so happy I never had to use LinkedIn atleast
I am in luck I don't need that type of self-marketing shit. (Working for the state sometimes has its merits right?)
But having to brag about all the things you and how much you hustle sounds very much like that platform.
I am though aware of the pitfalls when doing hobby stuff as well.
I really liked doing Tabletop stuff but being a GM can be very stressful sometimes when you need to prepare sessions
I really enjoyed my time doing but after I had to drop it for my exams a few years back I have not picked it up again since. the mental toll of letting the group hang out to dry for that long was taxxing and blocking me from starting again (also finding other hobbies did not help xD)
I did cut it off with discord but I can maybe get into it again some other day. We will. Interests sometimes can be very interesting in how they come and go.
But yeah I also have to do better in getting into the head that hobbies are not a competition but there to have fun and maybe be a little creative as well.
