I would not consider the mechanic process of stitching together fabric in itself as creative as is the simple printing of a 3d-model.

But the stuff before that... The modelling, the thinking about the problem at hand and solving it. Be it via modelling, or making a pattern and thinking about construction.

@Erpel unreadable code is also an art in itself.

@Erpel I would not consider myself a creative person but under the right circumstances sometimes creative juices can get going even for me.

But depending on the lens you look from you can also consider stuff like programming as a creative thing. Or hell 3d-printing and stuff might as well.

Yes, you are!

You might not excel in a particular field like some people do to earn a living, but you are still creative. You can write, you can compose music, and you can draw.
Once again: You might not be particularly good at it or have enough knowledge to excel, but don’t let that stop you from exploring it in the ways open to you.

Sitting on a bench and drawing in the sand might not feel creative, but it is. It’s certainly not the work of a Picasso, Monet or Rembrandt, but for the few minutes that the lines exist in the dirt, they are art. The process of creating them was creative.

The same applies to singing falsely and writing generic or bad stories.

And yes, it might just be a combination of a thousand things you’ve heard, read or seen, but it’s still your creativity bringing them together to create something new. Whatever it will be.
