@vantablack Also: Why the GM be like that? It sounds like a cool idea and in Shadowrun I would expect everything to be online all the time! How else you gonna build totalitarian states?

I guess its hard push back against this stuff when your livelyhood depends on it. I know its not that you choose to stay with one company that plain sucks.

@me tbh to hell with all those designers. Not saying AI is any better but the designers who pushed dark patterns and manipulative design onto users (looking at stuff like cookie banners and gacha games for example) deserve a very special spot.
A good project manager would have pushed back against management but oh well the wheel needs turning.
