Like I am making 45k € a year before taxes and thats quite a lot for mey especially seeing what my brother used to make as well, its a bit better now. I can sustain myself on my own. And I have something

Which a big for me. I never would have imagined to dream to go to college and that much with the prospect of making of making 56k € a year as time goes on.

Since I also work for the state I get other perks as well. I do not pay for pension insurance or work loss insurance like other workers and I enjoy a very safe job. Other than the government being overthrown I cant loose my job.

I also work to get a nice pension after work life. 71.75% of my last salary if you work for enough years. (Atleast 40)

And yes I do actually work more hours for this every week. 41h/week.

So one part of me thinks I deserve this and I work for this. The other part scolds me for being this selfish.

I would like it for others to have it better than me as well. Obviously I had luck and opportunity on my side to be this fortunate. And Die Linke is really the only party trying to change life for most of us the better.

Electing them for though would lead to an actual pay decrease. Not because I am so rich or something. My income-bracket is not that high that I would pay more taxes. It would certainly be less.

Its about the pension insurance. That would easily cut my pay by 10%. So to make it fair the state would need to pay me more aswell. But that would happen I dunno. Maybe I am scared it would though logic says otherwise.

And acting even more against my own interest is nothing I am able to do atm. That and other issues always led to stray a little more conservative in my views.

But I might be wrong and only try to do "better" by greenwashing like using train and bike where I can. Telling myself I am doing something to make.stuff better. When the solution my lie somewhere else entierly?

Like I don't see capitalism as inherently bad. Only unregulated one is real bad. But when you tighten the regs around and make it fairer it is an intrinsic motivator work and be dilligent.

Might just be my bias since I am obviously on the side that is on the "winning" side of capitalism...
