First up thanks for your work and making open-source a better place.

I know this very well from the world of sewing patterns. There you also have a wider variety of stuff you can buy. Mostly pdfs for print at home, sometimes even printed out on big paper for you.

But most people do also have videos for you to follow along how make the stuff they sell. So technically you could go and not buy the thing. But I obviously buy it when possible.

People need to sustain themselves and especially with the rise of AI it is more important than ever to support fellow human creators.

I have obviously "profited" from open source software. There is so much polished stuff just... given away, for free. It allowed to try many different things and aqquire new skills.

I am all for free sharing of knowledge. Youtube can be such a treasure to learn new things. But I also get why people try to sell stuff. Its kinda just a fact of life that one needs money.

And spending weeks and months on something to give away is not something everyone can do.

For STLs I think its also generally acceptable to take money. Time, effort and testing. Most simple things are offered for in that community as well.

It is kinda interesting to think how software is so much different to other stuff when it comes to paying though

There would certainly be upside and downside to making software paid as well. And be it just for maintainer themselves.

Getting money for the work may allow them to dedicate more time to the project, but also adds a pressure maybe to keep maintaining?

A free software surely is easier to drop.

After fighting sharkey a bit (I was kinda too lazy to research if I can set more than 16 images per post problem for later) I can present you some images again today.

The used Giaro Heels I ordered did arrive and oh my do they look stunning and awesome but wear pretty poorly. Well I guess thats what I get for ordering Giaro Galana Style boots.

These naughty bitches feature a heel of 17cm (in size 44) and a platform of just 4cm really. Quite the extreme heel again. Which is not helped by the fact that the platform has a rather aggressive curve to it so the amount of platform that touches the floor is quite minimal and I felt kinda like tip-toeing a lot. I guess thats what I get from a shoes that fits their “sky-high” collection.

They are actually too big as well, but a size 43 would just be too small for me. I really need to get some thicker inlayes for cases like this one. This certainly did not help matters.

The shoes themselves are quite the banger for sure. The thin heel the aggressive angle are to melt for. I really enjoy the look of them mostly.

The PU-Leather is quite worn down on these since I bought them used (they were cheap atleast…). The photos don’t really show how used these shoes are lol.

I am also no fan on what the did in the front with the face lacing for the shoes. the “eyelets”, or rather loops I guess, just don’t fit my taste really. I would have preferred proper eyelets instead so you can secure these bad girls to your foot better.

But anyway. There is obviously no better outfit for these baddies than some cute and sexy Bunny-Girls. So enjoy a curation of 16 images of me as a bunny in some banger heels.
