I know its all “optional” and stuff. But some of the “solutions” don’t even need AI. Like the metadata lookup in the book. Before, yes it can be quite tedious to do. But you can search for metadata from online sources already. Yeah it varies in quality depending on the book. So I generally like the idea of looking for metadata inside the book as well.

Most books have copyright pages that have info that can be used for this purpose. But then? Why do I need AI to find this?

and yeah I obviously want AI to “recommend me a book” or to “discuss a book with AI”. Because building connections with other people over a shared hobby is bothersome and should never be done /s

A human will always be better at recommending you stuff and make a solid argument on why they like it. Or discuss a book with you.

Doing cursed networking with my nextcloud. basically tunneling all my traffic through the wireguard tunnel is kinda stupid since upload is very limited compared to local homenetwork bandwidth and I am way too lazy to use a second domain that works local only.

So I present to you the cursed nextcloud:

The dyndns changes the IPv6 according whatever the servers home-adress is, so I can directly connect to it when using the domain and a IPv6-capable client.

The A record goes to my VPS which then forwards the traffic through the tunnel making my cloud also reachable from IPv4 only clients just kinda slow
