I know its all “optional” and stuff. But some of the “solutions” don’t even need AI. Like the metadata lookup in the book. Before, yes it can be quite tedious to do. But you can search for metadata from online sources already. Yeah it varies in quality depending on the book. So I generally like the idea of looking for metadata inside the book as well.
Most books have copyright pages that have info that can be used for this purpose. But then? Why do I need AI to find this?
and yeah I obviously want AI to “recommend me a book” or to “discuss a book with AI”. Because building connections with other people over a shared hobby is bothersome and should never be done /s
A human will always be better at recommending you stuff and make a solid argument on why they like it. Or discuss a book with you.
