@lain You need to land the job first right? So you would have to be on the freelance roster of a studio that needs some fresh young talent.

The Dubs are certainly not done by the streamers themselves but they mostly will give the job to a studio that does the dubbing. Which will obvs. choose talent they know off.

So good luck getting a role if you are not on some list or someone knows you as a good VA.

Also dubbing can be very difficult business sometimes for a professional VA.

If you get a big role and be *the voice* of a character ins some big movie series you may get famous.

But I have no proper insight in that industry obvs.

But in Movies this can end pretty dumb. Where they would rather cast some stars/youtubers instead of a professional VA. Just since the recogniction will pull more people into the movies.

@lain @rick Nope not myself But sometimes at cons and stuff VAs would talk about some stuff on the industry and its also quite the same for translators as well in the industry
