Kinda funny. In German I only of the "Papiertiger" which is a for example some kind of law that exist trying to enforce something but does not actually do anything.

Auch wenn ich selber glaube dass das definitiv der falsche Weg ist Leute gleich so anzuspringen, wenn eh schon alles neu und ungewohnt ist.

Ich finde es generell aber wichtig den Leuten mit der Zeit aufzuzeigen wie viel vielfältiger Microblogging im Fediverse sein kann. Mastodon besitzt aus meiner Sicht eine zu große Macht gegenüber anderen Software-Projekten und hat sicherlich eine Menge unzulänglichkeiten (diesen Post hier hätte ich auf Mastodon nicht unterbekommen ohne einen unsäglichen Thread daraus machen zu müssen)

Aber tbh ist das ein Topic für ne andere Diskussion.

An sich ist es auch gut dass sich das Fediverse dezentral zu verteilen versucht, aber dabei leider auf Cloud-Hoster angewiesen ist (nicht zutreffend für sehr kleinen Instanzen).

Es ist insgesamt ein hehres Ziel Alternativen zu zeigen. Nur der Zeitpunkt ist vielleicht nicht soo toll gewählt.

But yeah visited @frankenmexx yesterday with @rick and had a good time there. Its always lovely to see people enjoy themselves how they want to.

Also I get to run around as a pink bun all day. Weather was really great for it being November.

Also learned some cool new tidbits on Lolita-fashion. There for example the Ouji-Style next to Lolita. Ouji is a more masculine style. Very interesting. But not for me. I do like the fem-styles better with the pretty dresses and pufffy skirts
