@mametsuko Oh thank you mame Its certainly not ready yet (and won't be for a while) But hitting that milestone in the drafting is great as the japanese sewing magazine only really included a pattern for the base skirt. And they said: The panels you will need to figure out yourself.

So I did have to try different sizes first. So thats the result you see there. Though making the thing for real will be a bit harder But there is much time until Dokomi next year to get it done. First will be the maid dress though.

Wanted to work on that one this week since I already cut all the pieces and now its just putting them all together using the instructions.

But I do have some special fabrics in mind for that skirt. The first one on the photo is japanese canvas (drawing from the japanese origin of Lolita-dresses and skirts, though yes I know Lolita is based on something else non-japanese). And the second one is a very cute fabric I found in a local store with a symbol of the area I live in the famous Bollenhut.

So getting some of the flair of the region I am living in for more than 20 years.

The rest will be chenille / slash-cut panels and lots of tartan/flanell stuff and Houndstooth pattern as well.

Composition (so all the fabrics look good) will be key though. That will be fun... (not? but maybe)

I am genuienly so happy right now, since it actually seems like that skirt I wanted to sew might actually turn out really great and more or less exactly the way I would have hoped.

After that small sewing crisis I had with that lovely red dress yesterday (I will post that one on here once its fixed to my liking)

I just love everything on that outfit right now. The boot were definietly the right buy as well for it.

Also I am kinda digging that raw look it has right now. The edges of the fabric are just serged with a zig-zag stitch so they do not open with some thread hanging down.

Will need to think about that look as making hems on all those panels sounds super tedious anyway. Might just use some serger-stitch for some neat Seams around those panels.

Anyway I got two new boots today so I had to make more photes in a bunny costume RIGHT? because everyone LOVES BUNNIES!

The Overknee-Boots are very interesting because of their coating that breaks the light up and lets them shine in rainbow colors. tbh the photos don't do them justice.

The material is really interesting. The coating makes them non-sticky to each other. Normal patent shoes are really sticky to smooth surfaces. So hard even that Poledancers call them cheating since they grip the pole themselves lol. SO I won't hook myself on a pole easily with these. (not that I have a pole lol.

I will have to see if I keep these boots since they are kinda just about fitting it seems

The other ones are just fun black and red patent pleasers. 20cm in heel height. Just like I like them.

I got some stuff again. The Demonia Camel-300 made me so much fall in love with that style I bought another pair in the same style buy in ankle boot-style.

Was a good desicion for sure. They look fucking lovely and are as good as the other ones to walk around in.

Fun-fact. both are basically the same line of shoe. These are the Camel-203. The (for me) knee-high boots use a softer PU-Leather than these ankle boots. But I kinda dig the zipper on the back as a decorative element and usefulness.

Also got a nice frilly skirt in red and black. Though wearing it on the waist clearly shows that it is criminally short for me. So I won't show you photos from the front or back. I do wonder if its a hip skirt or not lol. But its great for a petticoat under the mini-skirt.
