I understand that it would be emotionally satisfying for all the European leaders to spew their hatred for Trump.
But they're trying, desperately, to flatter him into not pulling out all US support for Ukraine. Observation has shown he loves flattery and responds to it.
Because they care more about Ukraine and the strategic safety of Europe than they care about venting their own feelings.

I realised this yesteday in the car and I kinda retract my 'bruh' on the EUCommission post yesterday. You catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar...

@aetios true. Trump is the kind of person where you need to do that. And Ursula certainly knows Trump well enough I suppose.
