@oxyhyxo Introversion is an issue only to people who don't have it.

Always, remember: Pushing your friends to do new things they don't want to do is not helping them. It's bullying and abuse.

@oxyhyxo My response to anyone ever saying something like that has always been "Would you like a tip on how to sit down and shut the fuck up?"

@oxyhyxo It seems to me the world would be a better place if more people thought more and talked less.

@oxyhyxo It’s geared for Oprah's audience, so they probably want that kind of stuff. It's for introverts who want to be extroverts. Not everyone knows the joy of solitude.

@yora @oxyhyxo I tried to be more extroverted when I was in my early 20s so hard, I read books, forced myself to go out more, started engaging in conversations with strangers, etc. then I realized I didn't wanted to do all those things and that they were very draining so I stopped trying. By my late 20s I was comfortable enough in my own skin, I ain't changing nothing no more.

@oxyhyxo I listened to a talk on Jungian typology and they claimed we use terms extro/introvert incorrectly to mean “open” or “closed” while real difference is better imagined and hinted at as extroverts being more like herd animals and introverts more like predators (not that they attack others of course, but the sort of unconscious underpinnings of how they operate).

So if you are introvert, you are basically badass, and I am not sure what all this noise is about.

@oxyhyxo we just get bullied so much. But we are half of the earth as well! Just our (western) societies are built around extroverts.
