it's weird how different engagement works on all the twitter-like platforms around. like i'm not trying to bait for engagement but it is interesting that the same joke got many times more likes and retweets on mastodon and bluesky than twitter

this post got like 4 retweets and a handful of likes on twitter, about 3 times that on bluesky, and nearly 200 retweets on mastodon. like it's really fascinating how despite being the smallest, mastodon has the highest rate of interaction https://oomfie.world/@rachel/113498114366948548

@rachel I once posted a picture with a bowl of rice between two halves of a split keyboard, it got like 400 boosts, if not more.

fedi might be ridden with drama (like the other platforms) but the people also know how to have fun.
