hearing about "I've been 20% more productive with AI tools" at work and my motivation for the day waning.
I mean, I never went "fully" into those tools, but I tried Copilot for a year in my evaluation period and by the end of it it sucked so badly that I disabled it for 90% of filetypes I worked with.
and the "feeling" of being more productive is a lie.
also, knowing that someone is in a somewhat dire financial situation
but then hearing they are shilling out at least $40/month for pro versions of AI tools is absolutely crazy for me.
