Last night’s outfit - a black miniskirt with a rhinestone mesh detail and a men’s shirt, with heels. A success, quite a few compliments, felt very comfortable and happy, and was in the heels all night. (No decent mirrors for photos, sorry)

@stefan I realised a while back at that 185cm (plus heels) there’s no point trying to blend in if I’m in a skirt, so I might as well go for it (when appropriate :)

@guyinaskirt Haha true. I do wonder though if some silkier top would look even better nkoThink

Hahaha also know that tall guy "problem". Though I do not care at all. I just like heels a little bit too much for that. I was just out and about twice or thrice. Once in a dress and (way too high) heels, talking 15cm I ended up going barefoot most of the way because the walkway was rather unflat.

I made some adjustments to my heel collection since and gone for more "stable" Heels. With broader more blocky heels. Have some nice chelsea boot style heels with 13cm (with plateau of 4) I really look forward going *somewhere*. The other booties are more "modest" being 7.5 and 9.5

Also had some lovely boots and ankle boots. The Ankle boots were about 7.5cm and I was rather comfy in them during the convention. But you can blend in easily even being about 190cm in the 7.5s. Plus fancy hat, Plaid skirt and basic top. I had a great day.

I also noticed I like more flaired skirts rather than tight stuff. Bulge and stuff. Also they make my hip look wider which helps me balance the look a bit. ^^

Now I am sitting here and talking your ear off lol. Good to hear you enjoyed yourself.

@stefan silkier isn’t really my style, or at least I haven’t found the right one yet :) I tend to be fem from the waist down only

I do mostly wear A-line/pleated skirts more than the tighter style like that, but I couldn’t pass that particular one up when I saw it. I’ve found “control” underwear can help smooth a bit too.

Last year here I wore heels too and suffered for having to walk to the venue on rough ground like you say, and then also didn’t think about sitting down for the entire evening until it was too late!

@guyinaskirt Being fem waist up is kinda difficult for sure lol. I do prefer waist-down myself as well. Other than the occasional dress. But tbh even though my shoulders would be too wide for a woman I just run with with it lol. But yeah silky stuff might be difficult up top. It would fit the more fancy skirt though, I think.

A-Line and pleated are sure the goats in terms of skirts. They look good and make your hips appear a tad wider ^^ Underwear of that sort I did never try tbh. But maybe it might be worth a shot with more tight dresses. But tbh I like my guys underwear generally.

That story with the heels. I told my mom about my experience. And she was like "Could have told you that" Although I think* it was just that difficult because they were thin stiellettos and quite high. But yeah lessons were learned that evening. I did not hurt myself or anything, I did take them off before anything bad happend since I almost fell twice xD

Now I just hope the different booties I bought will be a bit better in that regard. Generally the thing most women will agree on with us: Heels look good but can be difficult lol
