@guyinaskirt I learned the hard way that stillettos might look good they sure can be quite unstable outside. They were fine inside even though they were 15cm heels with 3cm platforms. (I could have guessed that much, duh) I did not hurt myself or anything.

I ended up carrying the heels most of they (dirtiying my tights significantly as well from going basically borefoot.

Learned lessons. Still like my heels high but have since sold some stuff of and bought more reasonable chunkier heels and flats. Ended up getting chunky high chealsea boots which I like very much atm. Though I did not wear them outside I am more confident they might work better. (also not as high being 12 with 2cm plattform ^^)

The ones you choose generally look good at least and have a wide heels which helps a lot.

@guyinaskirt Yeah lessons are easily learned that way. Although every women would likely tell you that they would told you so. My mom atleast said that these shoes look nice but are not really made to walk.

Bought me some short boots recently for a convention. 3" inches with a really blocky heel. I really liked them and with some red laces they fit really well with my red tartan skirt. Was fine walking in them all day. No blisters or anything since I made they can't slip.

The only thing I do not like is them being made of velour (akin to the rough side of leader). Not really a fan that material since it dirties quickly.

Also who cares about sticking out when you are a guy in a skirt anyway. rock those heels baby.

I felt really good on that anime convention and the skirt also helped with temperature since if was warm but slightly breezy. Very comfy with some good tights.

I had a lovely day. For next year I plan some actual cosplay as well. Looking forward to that eventually. when I actually get it done lol.

@guyinaskirt I did choose to go with a more modest lady-mini for myself (ending just above the knee).

I actually did order up some Martens as well since they will fit very well for the cosplay I am planning. And they seem more modest than the stuff a friend suggested since I was looking for a Combat Boot Sytle shoe. But riveted soles may be a tad too much. I will grab some pink laces for that purpose. Colored laces are so much for sure.

Will inteteresting how those Docs will look on me. Bought some used (although not very much it seems) 1914 smooth DMs. Looking forward to them getting here.

Never I would be doing actual cosplay one day but here we are. Its kinda fun creating an Outfit for it. Though I might curse myself when sewing stuff together lol. We will see.

That outfit you have in mind does sound interesting. Not the guy for socks when skirting myself (I am just too much into thights and not much into shaving)

@guyinaskirt Certainly has a look to it and certainly would not look out of place on a rock concert or Band thingie for sure.

Certainly not like the kind of super-fem skirts that would raise some heads. Funnily enough for me. I dress quite casual and plain when going out in male clothes, but I do like that little bit more extra with fem stuff.

Showing off some legs for once in some nice thights and a Hot Pants. Something I really wanna try outside one day when I find some nice top lol.

Thank you btw for posting so openly. I follow you quite some time now and always enjoyed the outfits. It does certainly help others to feel better about themselves as well I think.
