car supremacy is when you put a speed bump on the bikeway but not the street.

stop spending money on "bike infrastructure" and start putting stuff in the street that would interfere with cars going too fast

Floating bus stops are nice but why do they need to come with all of the pearl-clutching about whether people on bikes are going to plow into pedestrians, while assuming that anybody on a bike couldn't possibly have anywhere they wanted to get to like drivers are all doing important business and not just taking their dog out for a drive.

If anybody needs me, I'll be in one of my John Forester moods, and get off my lawn.

@enobacon I'm pro-cycling infrastructure, to be clear

the pedestrian path being elevated through the bike path is legitimately good. the only problem is that it should also be elevated through the car path as well. that's how they do things in Europe, where "speed bumps" are basically just an excuse to have at-grade pedestrian crosswalks

I don't think this is being done to punish cyclists. it's just uneven application of infrastructure

@AmyZenunim the ramp angle should not result in lift-off at the posted speed, which is 30-40km/hr (19-25mph)

@enobacon Don't need to invest into speedbumps for bikes, when bike-infrastructure is so bad no one would want to use it at speed anyway neofox_uwu

Problem solved! cars can be happy again...
