@jeder @fristi To stop vibration you will need something squishy absorbing them. Tape ain't the thing. But still better directly bolting to the chassie using screws I suppose.

@stefan @jeder what is it exactly that is vibrating in the case? The fans or the hard disks?

@fristi @stefan i haven’t started all that yet but the cage itself was vibrating when moving so Yeah

@stefan @fristi and directly screwing to the chassis is not really an option because shit doesn’t line up and i have no experience with aluminium, otherwise i’d probably just go ham

@jeder @stefan you could probably use self-drilling screws, though it would probably be better to pre-drill the holes anyway.

That said, if the tape works, might as well go with that. Less metal crap on your floor that way.
