hi! i'm the admin of demae party!

in other words, i usually make art, play video games or write static sites. while that, i listen to a lot of music, mostly VGM or j-pop

i grew up with nintendo games, my favorites are from smash, kirby and pokemon series (however i despise the Switch by a lot)

i love kittens (i'm alterhuman/otherkin!) and i'm your average queer disabled guy

Are you doing well? I do read you like nintendo-games. They sure are special. Its just is kinda sad that Pokemon has gone down the drain in the more recent past.

my favorite pokemon games are gen 6 and 7 to an extent, i think especially the 6th got too much hate for what it's worth

As for Pokemon. I did play them from Gen 3 - 6. I used to hate on Gen 5 a lot for its really pixelated sprites (now I want those back lol)

The ones I most like are Gen 3 and 4. 3 was my first Gen and 4 did so many things better in my eyes. (Though I do like the items and strategical elements made availiable from Gen 5 and 6)

I would not play them vanilla anymore today since there are quite some QoL in later Gens. I do like Romhacks which make modern stuff availiable in older Game styles.

Modern Emerald is really great for example good fun. But the recent opening of Emerald in the form of the decompilation was great.

There is now stuff like Pokemon Emerald Rogue which makes Pokemon a Roguelike. Very fun

@stefan not a fan of romhacks and mods, i like vanilla as-is (and in case of new pokemon games no romhack is gonna fix that mess)

if there's anything i like(d) from the community its the fakemons, despite its community being abhorrent

i even made some myself

@xenuline Ye taste differ I suppose which is fine. I don't really like fakemon. More of a purist in that sense.

There is a lot of QoL that goes into the romhacks is nice. Having Physical/ Special in Gen 3 is so nice for example.

Also I would not bank on the new games being "unfixable". They did make Brilliant Diamond way better since its based on Unity

Asking for favorites is always a hard question tbh. So much cool stuff xD
