@mametsuko Oh thank you mame

Its certainly not ready yet (and won't be for a while) But hitting that milestone in the drafting is great as the japanese sewing magazine only really included a pattern for the base skirt. And they said: The panels you will need to figure out yourself.
So I did have to try different sizes first. So thats the result you see there. Though making the thing for real will be a bit harder

But there is much time until Dokomi next year to get it done. First will be the maid dress though.
Wanted to work on that one this week since I already cut all the pieces and now its just putting them all together using the instructions.
But I do have some special fabrics in mind for that skirt. The first one on the photo is japanese canvas (drawing from the japanese origin of Lolita-dresses and skirts, though yes I know Lolita is based on something else non-japanese). And the second one is a very cute fabric I found in a local store with a symbol of the area I live in the famous Bollenhut.
So getting some of the flair of the region I am living in for more than 20 years.
The rest will be chenille / slash-cut panels and lots of tartan/flanell stuff and Houndstooth pattern as well.
Composition (so all the fabrics look good) will be key though. That will be fun... (not? but maybe)
