@stefan Because so much of it is similar to what we saw before. An elf getting transported to Japan? Yes. An adventurer leaving their party after mistreatment, only to realize they’re strong as fuck? Yes. Getting reincarnated as the villainess in an otome game? Yes. Receiving a “useless” skill, only to find out it’s the most overpowered skill ever? Yes.

@volpeon Its all based on light novel and manga. And they love running the same idea over and over again.
I have heard such stories way too often as well.
