Bilbo puked on the sofa and the floor five minutes before I had to leave for work…
Always nice
@lucy I would still clean it up even when I miss my train. But it’s more convenient to take the early Stadtbahn because I save on waiting time when I got to catch another train…
@lucy yes. we own one. But I use my feet and public transport to get to work. (so my wife has it available and we don’t need two of those metall blocks)
@lucy @Erpel during my apprenticeship i consistently showed up an hour or two late so i could spend the two hours after everyone else had left being undisturbed and productive
my boss didn’t like that at all. everybody wanted to just work from home after the move to the big open space hellscape in a repurposed warehouse he called the new office building
@lucy @mia besides I start so early that the morning rush hour isn’t the problem.
ther afternoon one is the one that drives you nuts. Even without any special circumstances I am fast with public transport. But let one small thing happen (a car crash, a construction site, etc.) and I need half an hour or more longer…
@stefan of course. It’s just an annoying point in time to choose from him.
Besides: Several times now I left for work just to get a message like 10 minutes later from my wife telling me he puked on the sofa, so… I has been lucky I was able to get him off the couch before the big mishap happened..
