@rick I can attest to that. Even though my stuff surely has things that would be needed to be done better.
Tbh though. Marin atleast is dedicated. Even though she has no inkling about sewing she tried it. I can respect that.
Though going about that stuff without a sewing pattern or anything just by the photo seems... interesting.
Good there is always stuff to choose from in terms of sewing pattern. Like with the Maid Dress I wanted to make or that skirt I am making at the moment.
It sure helps having one. They also come with little instruction booklets or in the case of that maid dress even with video. Great to learn from.
Also that vintage sewing machine of Gojos Granddad was nice to see. From what I know about table-sewing machines... (yes its literally built into the table) they are quite rudimentary. Only doing straight stitch when its that old. They normally very sturdy though.
Also that big handwheel can be useful when doing thick leather where sewing with the motor is no option. You basically stitch that stuff using the handwheel I heard.
Though obviously there industrial grade machines that can plow through leather used in upholstery lol.
