@stefan I really don't get this release.
Here in Norway the base game is $50, the deluxe edition is $70.
But you can upgrade the base game for $10, which as far as I can tell give you the exact same stuff for $10. They must have fucked up the pricing somewhere.
PS5 price seems to be $60 for deluxe after some quick searches, so I assume the $70 price tag for deluxe is the one that's wrong.
Why the heck did they even split the game? Why sell the base game for $50, then sell some extra crap for $60. Usually devs/publishers do this so they can sell the base for $60 to avoid gamer complaints and then sell a deluxe for like $80. The Oblivion Remaster probably could've launched at the regular $60, people likely wouldn't complain a ton if it turns out to be decent and they wouldn't get memed on for selling $10 horse armor again, maybe it's some weird PR stunt?
As someone who doesn't plan to buy the cosmetics I'm very grateful I can get it for $50 though, in a world where other publishers want everything to cost $70+.
