@stefan yeah it's still insane how much cheaper the ddr4 stuff is compared to ddr5. Like a 64 GB kit is ~$150 CAD for ddr4, but 50-100 more for DDR5.
The "sweet spot" motherboards have gotten close to around how much I paid for my AM4 board a while back though so there's that.
