I use Firefox Sync. I want to open videos in mpv from the context menu. I use both Windows and Linux. Since mpv extensions only support one OS, I have to install different ones on each OS. They get synced, so I end up with a working and a useless mpv extension on all Firefox instances. There’s no way to know which until I try.
