Though does old anime even gain anything when watched on CRT instead of something more modern?

@eru@ice.cream.chitanda.moe got a crt in my room with my partner at the foot of our bed. generally just end up watching things online thru my laptop and a hdmi->rca converter. really funny seeing all the modern stuff on a crt tbh but the whole situation's pretty sweet

@eru@ice.cream.chitanda.moe it's a sony trinitron of some sort! a couple years back i ended up finding two in some more rural areas around me, gave one to a good friend of mine have kept the other one. i even got some universal monster movies on vhs from a friend!
