@aetios pretty sure @pixel is playing the game at the moment. So he might give you some hints.

I have not really looked into the gameplay too much. Gameplay might be fine but presentation seems lacking as always. We still only get flapping mouths and no (maybe optional) voiceover

Looking at some footage they did take over the catching-system from Legends Arceus. So thats good I guess.

They are also trying out a new more action-focused real-time battle-system where the moves have cool downs and you can move around during battle. But also seems kinda hectic as well to me.

And Mega-Evolutions are back I suppose

and I do agree tbh

Legends is p much a spin-off series and feels like a testing ground for new mechanics, and the real-time battles are fun.

hectic, sometimes, but they still work well.

and the battle zones they are mostly applied in are awesome, haven't had that much fun battling in a Pokemon game in forever, I hope they bring those into the mainline games.
