i got out the old crappy bike that i can leave at the train station without worrying about it being stolen. though the front wheel brake is uhh… not so enthusiastic about working. but in general the bike is working.

also probably good idea since when i arrive back it’ll also be the middle of the night.

In the train. Time buffer was a bit shorter than I’d like, but I made it.

And of course there’s a signal failure delaying the train by “at least 25 minutes”

This means I’ll probably miss my connection but there seem to be a few alternative connections from there at least, so not critical.

Delay has been upgraded to 1h :neofoxflop__w: still traveling at walking speed because of signal failure.

The problem with being a train nerd is I know why it’s so slow so I can’t really complain

So at least I got a same platform change in Berlin instead of going from Berlin Hbf to Berlin Hbf (tief)

But of course there’s immediate another issue, this time it’s a door malfunction delaying the departure.

I can’t keep Dortmund, Düsseldorf and Duisburg apart for the life of me. Good that DB so has a reminder that I need to get off at the next station.

@Johann150 Last year, Flo and I almost met up in Duesseldorf despoite the messe being in Duisburg. Only found out like a day in advance. Lol
