Google’s and Apple’s anti-DMA arguments applied elsewhere:

The DMA would force us to allow people to leave our car wherever they choose, even at places that don’t meet our high standards for security and privacy. Unapproved places may also look different from what people are used to, inflicting mental damage and exposing them to potential harm.
Moreover, since such places are essentially lawless, there might be people having sex right there on the street. What if your children were to see this?

@stefan Both Google and Apple published blog posts against the Digital Markets Act, and their arguments really do boil down to this (except it’s about apps and app stores).

@colinstu @volpeon Modern civilised Protogen deserve table service just like everyone else; they shouldn't have to be forced to resort to Direct Memory Access to get their required nutrients.

(As demonstrated by Cyon https://www.furtrack.com/index/character:cyon_(protogen) at Eurofurence 29.)
