@schrottkatze for me it's quite the opposite i think, the more i talk about politics the less extreme my opinions become. Might be because i also talk to people others wouldn't even listen to

That doesn't include Nazis or Faschists for obvious reasons

@forestcat @schrottkatze I mean it is certainly quite easy at the moment to get more and more radical in politic opinions. There is very much an anger and fear going around at the moment. 
But I guess thats what you get when conservatives to go right-wing and the overton window shifted so hard to right that even basic human rights might soon be called "leftist ideology"
It sometimes sure hard to stay optimistic we might not get the worst outcome
