One gets the impression that during this heatwave, German news agencies have realised for the first time that pictures of beaches, outdoor swimming pools and cafés are perhaps not the right choice.
Instead, there is a lot of information on how to protect yourself from the heat, with pictures of people drinking water, pouring water over their heads in the shade and thermometers showing temperatures of almost 40 degrees Celsius.
