@fristi we have an mobile ac unit, but we only run it for about two hours a day to get the air a little bit cooler in the bedroom. (It helps for around 2-3 degrees, but is gone after about 1 hour

@fristi you can run it the whole day, but those mobile units have one big proble: the exhaus air.
You have to get it out an open window so the hot air gets back in the room, no matter how good you try to seal it…

My wife and I already discussed to use the mobile ac unit to cool down our living room once the heat is gone on friday, because everything in this apartment is now 27 degrees warm. even when the outside temp drops, we need days until we get the heat out of the walls, the furniture, everything…

@Erpel yea, it's why I resisted the urge to just buy a mobile unit. It works somewhat but mobile units here are usually about as expensive as a fixed units that work a LOT better.

However we are hesitant to invest in AC since we live rented.
