Proper shit bike aqquiered lol. 120 € for something to get me to the station and back.

There some stuff that needs fixing and I need a new lock. But it might do the job. Riding such a bike with lesser components realls shows how good the one was I had.

The stolen bike had Magura hydraulic brakes and Shimano Deore XT for the gearing. I will miss it

Now I have a bike that has a stem that makes creaking noises a shimano Alivio gears and Shimano Deore Brakes.

I will not wanna ride it much that be sure. Needs some fixing still and a good clean.

What a bummer still.

@ssekret well I got it from an actual shop so ye its a bit more expensive and also got it fixed up a little before picking up. It atleast properly shifts, drives straight and brakes work good. So I guess its fine

@stefan get a proper frame lock + an extra chain lock, that's what's basically the default in NL. Bummer your previous bike got stolen...

@aetios I just let it stay at the station for too long. I really loved that bike tbh. Although 9 years old it was maintained regularly. But yeah stuff happens.

I guess its also an opportunity to learn new stuff. Get some tools in so I can maintain the bike I bought myself (or atleast try to and learn along the way)

This cheap bike should be easy enough to do. Kinda dissapointed in myself I was just too lazy to get the bike right away.
