@stefan the biggest mental hurdle I had to take was that of 'this is weird and unnecessary', a kind of cognitive dissonance I guess? It's just being prepared, which is good and important, but it still felt weird.

@aetios I would though generally stock stuff you actually will eat from time to time. So you will have like a rotating stock. So basically buy some cans of things for example and use them here and there and restock a thing that was used up.
