@aetios the real answer to this is: why do you feel that way? you shouldn't be looking for the "i feel i should be better at this time in my life" or similar answer, but more, the why on that makes you feel the way it does

@helene tbh it was a half joke that in saying i shouldnt compare to others i was comparing myself to others :)

But i just have a low self esteem so i just tend to think other people are so good at things

@aetios Go the fristi-route become construction worker. THE WAY OF THE CROC!

But genuinely. Comparing to others too much is not the healthiest for sure. I was telling @rick something very similar. Like different people are good in different things. Its just a matter of finding what you are good at and be proud of it just a bit.

Will there be people who are better at "x" than you? Yeah. Does that take away your own qualities? No.

I did learn over the years working in a team that people are just different.

I know the feeling of "not enough" I am kinda slow at work but I am more thourough. Sometimes I need to go to my collegue and ask what would you do here?

I do struggle with some stuff but that does not take away my qualities.

Though also I do not work in tech and reading more and more on fedi about it I am kinda doubting I should start in the IT-Department lol

@stefan @aetios yeah, i can tell its a long road, but i think all pll feel like that at sometimes in their worklife.

I switched teams a few months ago, and they all us different tools, have different customers and.. do linux things differently than my old team.

i felt like a total noob. But as more as i learn how that team 'ticks' the better it gets :3

you can do it too akko_fistup
