Last night my youtube app on my android smartphone just randomly decided it would be super cool to constantly drop frames.
Hasn't got anything to do with the connection, app cache and app data. Works fine in mobile browser. Rebooting the phone, force closing and restarting did not help. Can't uninstall the app and it's up to date. Anyone else experiencing this?

@weebdeluxe I didn't use the official app in a long time. Maybe they just decided to do some upsie. Or the phone doesn't use hardware to decode the vid (very unlikely)
You could try some alternative app to see if its the phone or the app. NewPipe would be my goto.
