@jsstaedtler Your style is bubbly cheeks, big sclera and that roundy pointyness in hair, very distinguishable characteristics in your work :D

@jsstaedtler If that can help, I managed to become crazy consistent the moment I clearly defined my process. For example, I know exactly what canvas size I use; it’s always the same. Then I use the same brush, same size, and do my sketches in the same way each time. Same for colors (I have a base palette), shading (always use the same color and layer style)… I continue to tweak things up, but having this process clear in my head allows me to worry less and focus more on the other aspects

@jsstaedtler Not saying that you should be as extreme! And I don’t know if it’s your problem, but putting some limitation really does help. And then the rest is just a matter of time

@jsstaedtler I think all this is a sign that you're still growing as an artist. I'm in the same boat, but I find from a wider perspective, all my art still looks definitively "mine" in some way, no matter what 10% or 20% I change up.

@jsstaedtler I don't know what opinion you have of my stuff, but that's definitely how I roll, I just do things, experiment a bit, redraw many things, but I also embrace it, because it's that experimentation that has helped my stuff improve (or so I hope).

This is a craft were you never really stop learning, growth is inevitable and disatisfaction with one's own work seems to be the norm rather than the exception.
