I Tested The AI That Calls Your Elderly Parents If You Can’t Bothered
inTouch says on its website “Busy life? You can’t call your parent every day—but we can.” My own mum said she would feel terrible if her child used it.

Yeah no fucking shit, what the hell

@volpeon I feel like someone somewhere has misunderstood the meaning of life severely: "we made an AI that does your art for you, we made an AI that writes letters for you, we made an AI that decides what's important in a book for you, we made an AI that calls your family and loved ones for you..." Like, what else are we gonna outsource, admiring a nice sunset? Eating a delicious meal? Taking a nice walk just to see where your hooves take you?

They did successfully make an app specifically to fuck with the head of your estranged parents though, I wouldn't be able to come up with something half as diabolical if I tried.

@Owlor @volpeon more time for you to work, drone. Now that everything you liked doing for recreation was consumed by AI.

(which would be kinda weird since AI has a big problem feeding of itself, other AI or literal shitposts for data by now)

@Owlor @volpeon The sad part about AI is that companies are using it to automate things we actually enjoy doing: art, writing, reading, instead of the boring stuff
