This is a fantastic, short and extremely readable summary of what new tariffs mean for American small business. Probably preaching to the choir here, but a great piece to share with anyone in your life who still doesn’t “get it” on tariffs. @stefan ironically, they’ll affect me most if I persist in trying to manufacture my devices in the USA. I’ll end up paying massive tariffs on parts coming in from China, and then European customers will pay VAT on top of the tariffs I paid when I export. The tariffs make an all-overseas supply chain more attractive: I could sell to the rest of the world tariff free, as long as I make sure my products don’t touch the US economy unless bound for a US customer. It’s so maddeningly stupid.
