btrfs rescue fix-device-size
just saved my ass
with all the quirks of the billions of file systems to memorize, i should instead stop with my fdisk command line ego and just use gparted
it will actually resize stuff correctly with custom commands for the actual filesystem in question
@stefan due to the environment i learned these things, most of my knowledge is very server focused where you dont get a gui for gparted, hence fdisk and parted is all you have
this is why im also used to just a resize2fs and resizing the partition with fdisk and calling it a day, instead of this new modern era of complicated filesystems with gazillions of commands and quirks
@stefan not that that is bad, just miss simplicity or at least a single unified interface
kind of similar to the linux package manager syntax slop these days (which one was it again, apt remove or apt uninstall? :D)
