@aetios Yeah thats a very particular neighborhood in mannheim called "Mannheimer Quadrate" (lit. Mannheim Squares) The Street names and house names are quite interesting as well.

I was there with @rick on animagic.

@aetios it’s actually not because of the war! when the city was first established in the 17th century it was planned this way, with the castle as the focal point and the grid laid out in front of it
