We’ve seen a little confusion about the language regarding licenses, so we want to clear that up.

Confusion? Cleat that up?

We need a license to allow us to make some of the basic functionality of Firefox possible.

You mean the basic functionality that has worked for the past 30 years without doing this?

Without it, we couldn’t use information typed into Firefox, for example.

You’re not supposed to use the information we type into Firefox, for anything at all. Don’t even try to collect it, just don’t, ever.

Everyone complaining about this is well informed about what this means. Do not gaslight us into being confused.
